  1. Ellen Weilbacher says:

My mother is a wise woman who taught her children many different skills to live their lives. One of her best sayings is “Don’t try to keep up with the Joneses, remember you are the Joneses” (not our name) She modeled every day what it meant to love unconditionally, keep a clean home and embrace great work ethics. Honesty and humility bar none. Although no longer earthly bound she continues to be a role model for generations! Thanks mom!

Jill – Your Mother was right on making the right choice first – Man do I wish I would have always been able to do that – Maybe I wouldn’t have such a flat forehead for all the dumb choices I’ve made over the years! – I also love your quote on mistrusting someone – that is right in line with my teaching people in my books, CDs & live talks that “behavior never lies”

  3. Dr. Mike says:

Dianne – Great post – your Mother was right, it takes hard work to make a family work – That’s why I told people in my book that “you get more instructions with a new microwave than you do with your kids!” – Thanks and take care – Dr. Mike

“It is always easier to make the right choice first”
    and
“Never mistrust anyone until they give you (personally) a reason to.”

Great video! … My mom always taught me to just be ME. Never to change my quirky personality for anyone.

    Happy Mom’s day everyone!

  6. Dianne Murer says:

Thanks for the video and especially the 10 things you learned from Mother! I think one of the many lessons was that “Blood is thicker than water and it takes hard work to make a family work.”
