Hey it’s Dr. Mike aka “Grandpa & Birthday Boy.”
Check out my latest video blog where you get the behind the scenes video on Holly’s surprise reaction to being an aunt along with some really cool shades I snatched up at a conference I was speaking at in Wisconsin – Cheesehead country!
You’ll also want to jump in on the discussion regarding the Jet Blue flight attendant who literally quit on the spot, slid down the inflatable emergency slide with a brewski and dashed his way across the tarmac – No I’m not making this up!
See what you think about my take on the situation…
Take Care,

Dr. Mike
#1 – CONGRATULATIONS…..
#2 – People are so rude anymore. Maybe we should consider some of the solutions established in other countries…..Singapore for example -
FINE PEOPLE FOR THEIR CRAP…..
It would be a great way for the tax revenue to increase without taking any more of my pay check.
Funny you mention the movie “network” I was talking about it the other day, wondering when we as a nation might wake up and say enough as is enough, but I digress. Where I may not have pulled the emergency slide to leave I can certainly understand when enough is enough, not knowing all the facts I think alot has to do with this guys maturity level (or lack of) Truth is jobs are not that easy to come by and with that kind of mentality I wish him luck in securing another quickly. But what do I know I’m a 60′s model and we don’t have the right answers either. Congrats and thanks.
Congrats on becomeing a Grandad!
Responsibility it is the name of the game. We have the freedom to make choices, good and bad. Decisions are always made in a funnel. Good decisions and the funnel is small side up and more freedom is given. Bad decisions and the funnel is big side up. As we continue to make bad decisions we move farther and farther down that funnel until decisions are now made for us and freedom is taken away. That said, I doubt very much if this bad decision was a singular incident. There were most likely a much longer series of incidents that we have not heard. While we have the right to speak, word need to be kept few and sweet, because there may be words that we may have to eat.
Thanks,
Great comments Dr. Mike. So much in life isn’t fair. How we react to those situations is what separates the good from the poor. It’s about choice. We are responsible for our actions. And in this case he his “response” was too far. Two wrongs (or however many there may have been in this case) don’t make it right. It should not be about taking sides with him or seeing her as unreasonable,it should be a lesson in what not to do!
Congratulations on your pending grandpa status, and for being 29 again.
You are always an inspiration!
