Hi everybody, it’s Dr. Mike and it’s video blog time.
I was just speaking to a group of coaches, captains, athletes, parents and booster club officers and a question came up about Brett Favre.
The question was “If you were Brett Favre’s wife, would you leave him?”
You will be amazed at what the majority said they would do…
Take Care,

Dr. Mike
p.s. Make sure you leave a comment below the video!! I love your feedback!
I feel like we let people off the hook too easily these days. What ever happened to good ole honesty & integrity? I am a single woman and feel like it’s going to take me a while to find that “perfect” man. No one is perfect, I get it. But at least someone that is willing to fully commit to me and be faithful. Faithful as a husband, friend and father. I could care less about all the trophies and money someone has… it’s about what’s inside that counts the most! Deanna – what are you thinking?! Whew, great post!
I feel that what Brett Favre did was wrong. Not only is it morally wrong, but it reflects poorly on his character. I have always had a high opinion of Mr. Favre until recent events came to light. I don’t know how he could do this to his wife, his children, his team, the young lady involved, and his fans. He has many young people who look up to him as a role model. I would caution anyone with impressionable children to talk to them about his actions. This is not the type of character that I would want my children to possess.
She needs to encourage him and help him get the help he needs. Go with him to counseling and find out what she can do. There are no excuses but there are reasons and with help maybe they can work through all this. Hillary stood by her man and it made her a stronger woman for it. Wrong is wrong…doesn’t mean you just walk away.
I really enjoyed the video post.
Life is a complete body of work filled with high’s, low’s and in-between’s. It’s easy to root, love or look up to someone when they are at their best. So why is it so hard to be critical and judgemental of someone at their worst? Brett Favre is a human being who betrayed himself, his children and his wife. Marriage is a sacred vow, a life contract, a meaningful relationship at all hours of the day. So many people in this world don’t respect the seriousness of their daily decisions. Brett is just another statistic of a person who committed adultery. He happens to play football and is know by most of society, but don’t justify his accomplishments on the field in place of his selfish and shameful behavior off it. Dr. Mike – great post!
